With three hours or so left until polling closes, it looks like it could be a crap day for democracy. All over Twitter and the local paper websites are reports that turnout is <25% and lucky if its over 20%. That's not counting postal voting mind.
So, did we break democracy?
Somehow the vast majority of the electorate self-evidently don't believe in voting?
Or is it just that José Saramago's Seeing is more popular than Amazon would have us believe.
